Worldwide data
The World Egg and Sperm Bank takes great pride in accurately collecting and reporting precise pregnancy outcome data for future parents and the clinics who serve them. Our success rates data is carefully averaged from ALL the gametes The World Egg and Sperm Bank has provided to ALL clinics worldwide:
- Egg Survival: 92.1%
- Worldwide Clinical Pregnancy Per Ova Thawing: 58.2%
Our pregnancy rate is ONLY derived from the first transfer of a single cohort. This is unlike other banks that may mix cumulative pregnancy rates from multiple treatments. Hence, they may say a 60% – 80% pregnancy rate but that may be after 2 or more transfers of embryos from a single or multiple cohorts of an unknown number of eggs. This number is misleading and does not reflect your potential for pregnancy after the first transfer with a single cohort of eggs.
Also, our pregnancy rate is a CLINICAL pregnancy rate defined by a fetal sac (not a single positive HCG blood test).
- Embryos Transferred To Each Patient: 1.18
- Transferable or Freezable Embryos For Each Cohort Of 6 Eggs: 2.78
How TWESB ensures Proper Storage and Monitoring
At The World Egg and Sperm Bank (TWESB), safeguarding irreplaceable donor eggs and sperm begins with proper cryostorage and continues with 24/7 oversight. Using XiltriX, our lab continuously tracks critical conditions, like temperature, liquid nitrogen levels, humidity, CO₂ and power. This system triggers instant alerts if anything drifts out of range. With continuous data logging, redundancy and rapid-response protocols, we protect each sample from storage through shipment – delivering peace of mind at every step.
